The Kinbo KBSG series isolation transformers fully isolate the output from the input. By establishing a new neutral-to-ground connection, they can eliminate common-mode interference and other neutral-related disturbances in the power grid. The isolation transformer converts a three-wire delta (Δ) connection into a four-wire wye (Y0) system. Adding shielding further prevents high-frequency pulse interference and noise caused by internal transformer coupling. Although shielded isolation transformers can effectively prevent various N-G (neutral-to-ground) disturbances, including pulses and high-frequency noise, the transformer must be properly and strictly grounded. In this way, it effectively filters the input voltage (supplied by the power grid), providing clean power to electrical equipment.
